Enhancing the socio-economic standards of rural farmers by upgrading their knowledge and skills is the main objective of transfer of technology. Acquisition and application of technology does not stand alone, but is conditioned by political, social, economic, and cultural factors that can impede the diffusion or transfer of technology.
